MEMBERS of Harrowbarrow and Metherell WI?are hoping to organise a flower festival and fete to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee next June.

The event, on Saturday and Sunday June 23 and 24 would take place at and around All Saints Church in?Harrowbarrow, says the WI in the latest edition of 'Hamlet' the local newsletter.

The WI would welcome involvement from anyone interested in taking part, such as flower arrangers, sponsors and those willing to man a stall.
