PROPER Job Resource Centre in Chagford is holding a free re-use and repair workshop on Saturday, March 10 between 10am and 4pm.

The event celebrates Devon Re-use Week and is also a launch event for further community repair workshops taking place throughout the year.

Sessions include sewing, bike maint-enance, tool sharpening and composting.

You can learn to make a tote bag, purse with button fastening, apron, cushion or headband with Sue. There will also be bike maintenance and repair sessions with Frank ‘the Bike Fixer and learning the lost art of tool sharpening from practised old hand Eric Hodges.

You can also learn tips and tricks for successful composting.

Free refreshments will be provided on the day. All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
