POLICE in Tavistock are appealing for information after reports of racist grafitti being daubed in the town. PC Colin Taylor said the vandalism had occurred on large wooden doors set into the wall along the footpath by the River Tavy, just a little further along from the new railings by the Abbey Bridge weir. PC Taylor said: ?This has occurred in the last week to ten days ? the grafitti was of a racist nature. ?We would like to hear from anyone who has any information regarding this incident.? Anyone who can help is asked to call PC Taylor at Tavistock Police Station, quoting ref JT/06/234.
