THURSDAYS are always looked forward to with the Times to read and enjoy. However, I have become increasingly surprised to see how many people write letters to your newspaper and wish their names to be withheld.
Some weeks ago, someone complained about not being served at the Wharf. Why couldn?t they complain to the management?
Now we have these people who can?t have their G and T in peace and are not game enough to say who they are or where they live.
An Englishman?s home is his pride and joy and we work hard to keep our homes.
Those people who are disturbed at cocktail hour would have different things to moan about if their neighbourhood gardens were left to deteriorate due to lack of attention.
