A LACKLUSTRE performance but all three points. Bere ran the game but lacked a final ball to kill off Mevagissy. A combination between Steve Piper and Darren Smalley saw Smalley clear to beat the advancing keeper.

The second half was the same until 20 minutes from the end when Bere suddenly had a purple patch. Steve Daymond jinked through and set up Steve Vanstone to fire home.

Next, from a Tommy Rowlinson free kick Kyle Robinson got in front of the keeper to head home and Steve Daymond ran through and his shot was mishandled into the net.
