PUBLICK Transport was set up in 2005 to produce comic theatre with a visual emphasis. Previous productions include 20,000 Leagues Under the Office, The Department of Smelling Pistakes and Very Hard Times and Discombobulated.

We Are Brontë is a piece of comic visual theatre inspired by the real and imaginary worlds of Yorkshire’s literary siblings. Physical theatre collides with stand-up, clowning and improvisation as two performers deconstruct not only gothic themes of love, madness, repression and revenge, but also themselves.
