THE Children's Homoeopathic Clinic in Okehampton has received a boost thanks to a Mothering Sunday fundraiser at the Crossways Inn at Folly Gate.
Landlord Ben Bendix and all the families who helped to raise £98.40 for the clinic have been praised by the Okehampton and District Homoeopathic Group.
The winner of Topsie the Teddie Bear was Katrina with ticket number 45.
The clinic is free for children and of the 154 new patients going to the homoeopathic clinics at the Riverside Centre in the last year 51 were children. The number of patients now attending totals 634.
The group provides two clinics every Wednesday for all ages with qualified doctors who are members of the Faculty of Homoeopathy.
The group, which is grateful for the continued support from the general public, is about to start another round of fundraising with its millennium prize draw and is looking for more volunteers to help keep the clinics going.
