TAVISTOCK College footballers spent a week in Paris honing their skills against top class players.
Two Year 10 football squads enjoyed three competitive games in the French capital under the direction of student tour captain Daryl Panter.
Tristan Foster, head of PE, said: 'It was a really great opportunity for the students to taste a different culture. The opposition teams' approach to training and style of football was different and they learned a lot by being around people playing at a high level.
'The boys were a credit to the school and their behaviour around Paris and with the French people we met was fantastic. They worked incredibly hard fundraising to make the trip happen including bag packing in Marks and Spencer.'
