I WOULD like to use your popular letters feature to correct some speculation that has been circulating through the local community recently. The unfortunate cancellation of the Whitchurch Summer Fayre gave rise to rumours that this would also affect the newly reinstated Whitchurch Village Produce and Handicraft Show. This is certainly not the case and the village produce and handicraft show will go ahead unaffected on Saturday August 12 at 2pm in the new village hall. As a brand new venture, we hope that the local community will give their full support and come forward with entries that would make this event the success that the committee?s efforts deserve.
