She will be reporting back on her recent five-week aid mission to Central and Eastern Africa with Colin Bond, pastor of TCC.
Together they organised the passage of a 40ft container of medical aid into Uganda, aid that will help get three clinics up and running in areas that desperately need medical treatment facilities.
The meeting at the King?s will start at 11am. Coffee will be served from 10.30am.
Princess Evelyn is a member of the Royal Family of the Bahema people in Uganda and the Congo. Because of the war in Uganda when she was a child, she became an orphan at the age of six. She has since dedicated her life to helping other suffering children in Africa through her charity ?Outreach to Africa?. She has visited Tavistock once before, two years ago. She is very happy to be back!
