PUPILS at Delaware Community Primary School are enjoying playing with their new ’Trim Trail’ play equipment.

The equipment was installed at the end of the summer term and was partly funded with the Big Lottery grant with the rest of the money raised by the Friends of Delaware parent teacher association.

The bid was put together after a lengthy period of consultation with stakeholders and, most importantly, following requests from the children themselves. Headteacher Lynn Nash said: ‘The equipment has really enhanced playtimes and our aim is to continue to fund raise to add to it over the coming months and years.’
