YOUNGSTERS from Meavy and Yelverton Pre-School donned their wellies to visit some newly born lambs on a West Devon farm.

The pre-school children visited Greenwell Farm, near Meavy, for its annual Lambing Live event, where visitors can watch lambs being born.

Although the children didn't get to see any births, they were fortunate to be able to bottle feed the lambs that were there and see the farm's cows and horses, fitting in with the pre-schools baby animals/spring theme this term.

Meavy and Yelverton Pre-school is a charity run pre-school, that will be celebrating its 40th year next year. The pre-school is situated in Meavy parish hall and has close links with the community and Meavy primary.

There are spaces available for children at the moment. For more information call Lucy Underwood on 01822 855844 or 01752 790881.
