Senior One Wellington 1 North Tawton 1 TAWTON struggled to deal with Wellington?s attackers and spent much of the half defending. It was not until the half hour mark that Wellington caught Tawton napping and went one up. In the second half Tawton came out a different team, breaking down Wellington?s formation and having chances of their own with George Pitts coming close only to be denied by the upright. Time was running out when a pinpoint cross from Michael Tap let Paul Borrows hit a powerful header past the keeper. With ten minutes to go the game became more open with both sides having chances, only to be denied by the goal keepers. Both teams played a good game of football and came away with a fair result.
