STAFF at one of Devon's most popular garden attractions have said a big 'thank you' to their visitors, as they celebrated a major honour from the world's largest travel site.
Thanks to consistently great feedback from the public, The Garden House has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence 2015 from Trip Advisor.
The certificate honours those businesses which have consistently demonstrated a commitment to hospitality excellence and have to maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of five to qualify for the award.
Head Gardener Nick Haworth joined other staff in the garden to celebrate the achievement by proudly displaying their newly arrived certificate — and the accolade can also be promoted via the attraction's website.
'We have always known The Garden House is excellent and this award clearly shows our visitors obviously think it is pretty excellent too,' said Nick.
'To consistently have a rating of four or higher is a fantastic achievement and testament to the hard work of everyone connected with The Garden House.
'We would all like to thank everyone who has helped us attain this much coveted award and we will work even harder to both maintain and improve our excellent standards in the years to come.'
Trip Advisor says that The Certificate of Excellence award gives top performing establishments from across the world the recognition they deserve based on feedback from those who matter most — their customers.
The Garden House profile on Trip Advisor features almost 100 reviews from visitors, many of whom are full of praise for both the garden and its tea room.
'Magical', 'One of the best gardens in Devon', 'a worthwhile visit for all seasons' and 'a gem hidden away' are just some of the comments from visitors who have travelled to see the garden from across Devon and Cornwall, and from many other locations further afield in the UK.
