THERE was a disappointing number of entries at this year's Milton Abbot Village Show, partly due to the poor weather but, organisers say, mainly to the lack of interest in the village.

Presenting the prizes John Holland, a long time supporter of the show, urged everyone to 'use it or lose it' and to encourage others to take part.
