THE Spooners and West Dartmoor Hunt Pony Club held their annual show on Sunday at Meavy by kind permission of the Vanstone family.

A different layout of rings was an improvement and particular young members of the Pony Club were crucial to the successful running of the day.

The Horn family donated two shields in memory of Kieren, who is so much missed by the club members. These are awarded to the highest accumulated points by Spooners members in the main show-jumping ring and the junior show-jumping ring and will be presented at the Pony Club annual meeting — a fitting memorial to a popular member and much appreciated.

Organisers thanked everybody who helped and competed on the day proving that there are a lot of up and coming young jockeys among us.
