POLICE officers in Callington are urging parents to keep a check on the whereabouts of their children, following a rise in youth-related anti-social behaviour in the town. There have been numerous incidents of homes and vehicles being damaged in the Trelawney Road and Hazelwood Road areas over the past two weeks. Prior to that Guipavas Road had been a target. Sergeant Brett Phillips said the onus was on parents to ask where their children had been, especially over the half term holiday. 'There has been a rise in reports of incidents but also in passing comments from members of the community,' he said, 'Everyone has a part to play in tackling anti-social behaviour and we would ask the community to help the police in this respect.' A rear windscreen wiper on a Renault Laguna was ripped off some time between the evening of February 2 and the morning of February 3 in Trelawney Road (crime number BN/07/74) and a window was smashed on a property in the early hours of February 9 in the same road.
