POLICE are asking for assistance in identifying a man who carried out an indecent act towards a woman in a car near the 'Green Café' on the approach to Plymouth.

The incident happened at about 2.30pm on the afternoon of Thursday November 17, but police say it seems likely the offender is the same man who has been reported for other incidents.

The woman had parked in one of the moorland car parks just off the main road between the café and Tavistock to walk her dog and was about to drive away when the man appeared. She has provided a good description and officers hope someone will supply a name.

The man is white, in his middle to late 30s, 6ft tall and of a slim to athletic build. He has dirty blonde/ginger hair which is described as about 2cm long and frizzy, and a long face that is clean shaven. He was wearing a distinctive, bright blue T-shirt with a yellow block logo on the front, blue jeans and white trainers.
