MORE than £2,700 was stolen from a home in Calstock on December 23 between 6pm and 7.40pm. The thieves entered the home by damaging the wooden front door. They left with items including a £499 Targa Laptop, £199 Fuji F30 digital camera, £1,000 in bank notes, £100 Playstation 2 consol, and £500 worth of DVDs and games. The crime occurred on December 30 between 12.30am and 4.10am. Anyone with information should call Callington Police on 08452 777444 quoting crime reference number BN/06/845. A window of a commercial premises in Fore Street, Callington was smashed on January 1 at 2.20am, causing £100 worth of damage. The crime number is BN/07/05. Police also want information about criminal damage to a vehicle in Back Lane Car Park, Callington, between 1am and 1.30am on January 1 (BN/07/02) and to a property in Liskeard Road, Callington, on December 31 where a window was smashed (BN/06/852.) A black and yellow Cosmos generator (250 volt) and a blue Bosch cordless drill were stolen from a shed on a building site at Kelly Bray on December 22/23. Damage of £150 was also caused.
