I WRITE regarding the loss of my mobile phone at some point between Milton Combe and Tavistock on, I think, Thursday January 22.
I caught the 55 bus from Milton Combe to Yelverton and then the 83 to Tavistock. I later found my phone to be missing.
I am very dependent on the phone as I am unable to drive due to a health condition, and need to be able to ring for lifts when travelling at times not served by the local bus, It has also, as most people's do, important telephone numbers listed.
The phone is a silver-coloured Nokia in a black case. It has no camera or other functions and is protected by PIN numbers, so little use to anyone else.
I have reported it to the bus companies and to the police but as yet it has not been handed in.
If anyone should find it, or be holding it with the intention of handing it in but haven't got round to it yet, please would you take it to Tavistock Police Station or contact me on 01822 854865.
Thank you.
