A WOODLAND Park in Harrowbarrow which was voted a favourite in the People's Millions TV programme winning £50,000 of lottery funding will be officially opened on Bank Holiday Monday (May 3).

The opening of the park and play areas will be incorporated into the May Day celebrations at Harrowbarrow and Metherell Village Hall.

Everything kicks off at 2pm and a coach from Plymouth Argyle will be giving some tips to the youngsters. There will also be a team from the Big Lottery Fund in attendance.
