Plastic Free Chagford has donated £100 to Surfers Against Sewage to help tackle the problem of single-use plastic.

At an October coffee morning, the environmental campaign group raised the money which will go towards the Million Mile Clean, organised by Surfers Against Sewage, which challenges people to litter-pick over a ten mile walk.

Plastic Free Chagford has also announced that their £100 contribution has been doubled by the Big Give, a charity scheme that runs over the Christmas period and offers to double any donations.

As a result Plastic Free Chagford can give Surfers Against Sewage a total of £200.
