WITH Autumn drawing nearer the National Council for the Conservation of Plants Gardens has organised a plant market. The NCCGP will hold the market at RHS Garden, Rosemoor in Great Torrington. More than 25 specialist nurseries will bring their selections of unusual, uncommon and garden worthy plants to interest all gardeners. Plant Lovers enjoy NCCPG Markets as it gives them an opportunity to make a serious contribution to conservation. Alpines, grasses, foliage, perennials, shrubs, trees, ferns and herbs will be provided by nurseries coming from Chacewater and St Day in Cornwall, Chard and Watchett in Somerset and Kingsbridge. The aim of NCCPG is to create a living archive of plants, and people can help this by buying and growing unusual or uncommon plants. The plant market is from 10am to 3pm this Sunday, September 3
