MORE than 30 members of Okehampton Twinning Association attended the annual meeting at the Ockment Centre recently.

The association is in its 26th year and is currently planning this year's visit by residents of the French twin town Craon which takes place between August 24 and 28. At least 50 French visitors are likely to take part in the visit.

Despite changes, there are still some original members of the association but new members of all ages interested in international friendship are very welcome.

The next event will be a lunchtime barbecue at Taw Green at noon on Sunday, July 16.
