DID you enthusiastically embrace the 'Mobot' over the summer? Raise a glass or two to the Queen during a Diamond Jubilee party? And will you shed a tear on New  Year's Eve as you say goodbye to this year and all its amazing events? Then a website celebrating all things 2012 could be right up your street.

Faces of Britain is inviting everyone from Devon who wants to leave their mark on 2012 to upload a photo of themselves onto the site. The photos will be kept permanently online as a lasting reminder for everyone who joins in.

The site has space for 212 residents from every county and city in Britain to take part, on a first come first served basis.

Once individual areas are complete the 212 photos will be made

into a grid-style commemorative poster. The posters will be given out free of charge to local charities, community groups and libraries, and made available for individuals and organisations to buy.

Katie Sanders, co-founder, said: 'This has been a year like no other, so we're giving everyone in Devon who has enjoyed all things 2012 the opportunity to say "we were there"!

'Faces of Britain is free, quick and simple and we'd love  as many people as possible to upload their photo.'

Faces of Britain comprises 109 areas, representing each county and major city in the UK. In total there is space for more than 23,000 people to upload their picture.

Anyone doing so must be 13 or over.
