PETER Clement of Brentor, recently seen at the Wharf as Alfred Dolittle in ?My Fair Lady?, has exchanged his cockney garb for pirate clothing for the Plymouth Gilbert and Sullivan Fellowship?s next production at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth.
Peter will play the Pirate King in ?The Pirates of Penzance? which runs January 21-25. Starring alongside Peter will be the director of ?My Fair Lady?, Richard Clark, as the Major-General.
Previously Peter has played the roles of Don Alhambra (?The Gondoliers?), King Hildebrand (?Princess Ida?) and Poo-Bah (?The Mikado?) for the Fellowship. In Tavistock he has played various roles, including the King of Siam in ?The King and I?.
