PINK was the colour for members of Okehampton Ladies' Circle at their successful 'race night' celebrating their first full year together.

The pink-themed evening, held at Okehampton Golf Club, included a three-course meal, live music and entertainment. The group raised £400 for local charities through ticket sales and collections at the event.

They have held other fundraisers throughout the last 12 months, including a 'swish evening' — swapping unused clothes for new outfits. The ladies' circle also holds regular social events, including picnics in Simmons Park, a treasure hunt, and a day's shoot.
