Bodmin Trophies Duchy Premier
Southgate 2
Gunnislake 2
GUNNISLAKE had slightly the better of the first half and took a one-goal lead into the interval. A Steve Gaggini through-ball was played in to the penalty area by Tom Pilbeam for Stuart Wakenshaw to score.
The home side dominated the opening 15 minutes of the second half. Having missed two good chances they then scored twice in quick succession to take the lead.
The remainder of the game was end to end as Gunnislake searched for an equaliser while Southgate looked to extend their lead.
The only goal that came was for the visitors. A Wakenshaw corner was headed home at the far post by Pilbeam deservedly to leave each side taking a share of the points.

Boscastle 2
THE home side started brightly and were unfortunate not to take the lead when Matt Avery headed a Mark Warwick free kick on the Boscastle cross-bar.
However, the visitors got into their stride and produced an excellent 15 to 20-minutes spell in which they established a two-goal lead.
It could have been worse for the home side but for a couple of good one-on-one saves from Mark Southcott.
Gunnislake showed character to turn things around by half-time. A Chris Keeler through-ball enabled Stuart Wakenshaw to score before an Owen Locker pass did likewise for Tom Pilbeam.
Shortly before the break, Neal Kinger pressurised a Boscastle midfielder into an error which saw a Pilbeam effort saved, but from the follow-up move Avery finished well.
Boscastle had the greater share of the play in the opening 20 minutes of the second half. But with the entire Gunnislake team having good games the visitors were kept at bay. The home side doubled their lead when a Simon Wakeham pass played through Pilbeam who lobbed the Boscastle keeper from 35 yards.
Gunnislake then failed to convert a few good chances before Pilbeam completed his hat-trick two minutes from time with another well taken goal.
This Saturday Gunnislake make the trip to Mevagissey for a 2.30pm kick-off. Tuesday sees St Dominick visit Gunnislake for a 6.30pm kick-off.
