THE next star performer in the Kelly College Concert Society 50th season visits the college's Melvin Hall on Wednesday, February 10.

The Australian pianist, Jayson Gillham, is a graduate and medallist of the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, where he studied with Leah Horwitz. Since moving to London in 2007, he has been awarded the Royal Academy of Music's Bach, Beethoven, Romantic and 20th Century piano prizes.

His recital at Kelly will include masterworks by Bach, Schubert, Bartok and Chopin, plus the ominously titled 'AK-47' by his countryman, Matthew Hindson.

The concert starts at 7.45pm and tickets will be available on the door.
