ONE fire appliance from Hatherleigh and one fire appliance from Okehampton were called to a road traffic collision involving a petrol tanker, which had gone into a ditch, and a private motor car. The accident occurred at 8.45am on Wednesday just outside Northlew on the road from Okehampton. Fire service personnel assisted ambulance crews with the treatment of the woman driver at the scene.
