The Reserves recorded a fine win over top of the table Bude Town at Langsford Park.
The visitors took the lead when Steve Hackett tapped the ball into the net after some good work by Billy Hopcroft and Tom Statton.
The young Tavistock side were giving a good account of themselves and they fully deserved to draw level in the 40th minute when former Portsmouth, Bristol Rover and Brighton star Robbie Pethick, powered home a header from Josh Robbin's cross.
In the second half the hosts continued to play quality football and should have taken the lead on a couple of occasions.
Bude had a penalty appeal, rightly turned down, mid way through the half, but it was the Lambs who got the deserved winner when Dominic Machum fired home from 20 yards.
