FIRE crews from Okehampton attended a road traffic collision with reports of a person trapped inside a vehicle.

Crews were called out to the A386 between the Fox and Hounds and the Bearslake Inn around 4pm on Sunday, after a two vehicle collision. A Land Rover was overturned on the road and someone trapped inside.

Crews got to work using hydraulic rescue equipment and released the person. First Aid was rendered to a further six walking wounded.
