BANK Holiday Monday saw runners of all ages and abilities take part in the eighth Peter Tavy Plod Trail.

The popular annual event, sponsored by the Original Pasty House, was part of the the traditional village fayre and the runners enjoyed scenic moorland views in either a 1.5 or 5 mile route.

The winner of the five miler was Tavistock Athletic Club's Jim Cole. (More words and pictures in next week Times Sport).
