PEREGRINE falcons have once again returned to a site, protected by teams of volunteers, in the National Trust?s Plymbridge Woods on the outskirts of Plymouth.

A partnership between the National Trust, RSPB and Plymouth College of Further Education has ensured that the visiting public have a ?bird?s eye? view of one of our most majestic birds via a specially erected platform.

Last year an estimated 18,000 people came to see a pair of breeding peregrines at their favoured nest site on the side of a disused quarry.

Plymouth College of Further Education has created a Website http://www.plym.pergrines.co.uk">www.plym.pergrines.co.uk to enable surfers to watch the birds 24 hours a day.

The peregrine platform is open every day in Plymbridge Woods from Easter to the end of July (11am - 4pm).
