THE Patronal Festival at St Peter?s Church, Lewtrenchard, will be celebrated with a choral evensong on Sunday.
The St Martin Singers ? conducted by Simon Ible, musical director of the Ten Tors Orchestra, will present canticles by Moeran, Introit and Anthem by Tallis and Bruckner.
Also on Sunday the gardens of Alder at Lewdown on the old A30 will be open to the public from 11am to 5.30pm.
The entrance fee will be £2 and the money raised will be divided between St Peter?s Church, Lewtrenchard and Operation Sunshine.
There will be light refreshments, a cake stall, draw and plants for sale.
