POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a crime in North Tawton overnight on Saturday/Sunday when £1,000 worth of damage was done to a white Ford van.

Crime reduction officer PC Mark Sloman said the van was parked in Exeter Street and was scratched at the front and at the rear.

'This is very similar to an incident we had a week or two earlier,' he said. 'If anyone has seen anything suspicious we would like to speak to them.'
