DARTMOOR National Park Authority has just published its 2005-2006 Performance Plan, recognising achievements made last year and highlighting plans and targets for this year. The plan, which acts as the justification behind the National Park Grant is very important, bringing £4-million to the local economy. Nick Atkinson, chief executive of Dartmoor National Park Authority, said ?many of our targets and delivery are measured against those of the other National Park authorities in England?. As part of trying to consistently increase the achievements made by the authority, it is currently seeking views of residents, visitors and users of the national park. People living in the wider Dartmoor area will be receiving summaries of the plan with their county and district council summaries, otherwise they can be obtained, free of charge, by writing to: Dartmoor National Park Authority, Parke, Bovey Travey, Newton Abbot, Devon TQ13 9JQ, telephoning 01626 832093, or visiting the website http://www.dartmoor-npa.gov.uk">www.dartmoor-npa.gov.uk
