THE views of people who use Dartmoor National Park?s services are being sought following the publication of an on-line version of the authority?s Performance Plan 2004-2005.
The public, including residents and visitors and those who work in the national park, are invited to comment on the plan, which sets out information about the achievements of the authority last year as well as its targets and action plans for this year.
A summary of some aspects of the plan has been incorporated into a joint performance and council tax summary sent out by the borough councils to all households in the wider Dartmoor area.
Nick Atkinson, chief executive of the DNPA, said Government was placing increased confidence in national parks, recognising the strong social, environmental and economic benefits they provided, both locally and wider afield.
?Despite many pressures and competing interests, Dartmoor remains beautiful, inspiring and productive, a tribute also to the numerous individuals, agencies and organisations who contribute to the authority?s work described in the plan,? he said.
The performance plan is available on the publications page of the DNPA website at http://www.dartmoor-npa.gov.uk">www.dartmoor-npa.gov.uk or free from Dartmoor National Park Authority, Bovey Tracey, Newton Abbot, Devon, TQ13 9JQ.
