AN organisation for parents and carers of children with special needs is holding its next meeting on June 4 at Tavistock Youth Café.
Parent Carers' Voice holds regular local forums across Devon with the aim of improving the services children with special needs receive.
The meetings offer support from other parents and carers, the opportunity to meet and talk to people who understand, and information to access services.
Parent Carers' Voice also runs training and events requested by its members, as well as the chance to voice opinions and influence the way services for children are planned and delivered. The meetings include lunch and the organisation will refund travel and childcare costs.
The next meeting will be on the June 4 between 10am and 12.30pm in Tavistock Youth Café off Pixon Lane in Tavistock. For more information call Kate Legum, development worker, on 01803 863761 or visit http://www.parentcarersvoice.org">www.parentcarersvoice.org
