THE PROFIT of £1,200 made at Coads Green Amateur Players' pantomime production this year has been split between three charities, including the Tavistock Muscular Dystrophy Group.
During the evening when the cheques were presented, a DVD of the pantomime was shown to those present, many of them cast and 'behind the scenes crew' who don't get the opportunity to see the pantomime.
Using the balance of the profit, and other income, the players are in the financial position of being able to upgrade the lighting to enhance future performances.
Many thanks were extended to all the people who supported and attended the pantomime and the players look forward to entertaining everyone again with Panto 2011, which will again be produced in fine style by Julie Snook.
The Amateur Players are joining forces with The George Appeal in April and producing a 'pantomime in a day' to raise money for their respective organisations.
