SEARCH and rescue dog handler Alex Lyons has been awarded an outstanding achievement award for 20 years' service. Mr Lyons has been involved in 500 incidents with the Dartmoor Rescue Group and has provided the community with a search dog service for two decades with his companions Scuff and Mac (now deceased) and currently Aiken. The latest dog to undergo training is Max who is pictured (right) with Alex Lyons and Aiken.
