THE Old Plough at Bere Ferrers was packed to capacity last Sunday night, for a special charity leg and chest waxing.

Organiser Louis Ormston even had his arm pits waxed in the spirit of giving!

Louis said: 'I organised this event because my Nan is currently battling ovarian cancer and I just wanted to do what I can.'

The successful night also included live music, a pasty eating contest and a free buffet.

All funds, which are still being counted, will be donated to the Eve Appeal.
