THERE'S an opportunity to hear the beautifully restored organ of St Michael's Church in Chagford in all its glory, at a special concert in the town this weekend.

Andrew Millington, the director of music at Exeter Cathedral, will give the organ recital on Saturday, August 18, in an event organised by the Friends of St Michael.

The recital begins at 7.30pm — tickets cost £7.50 to include a complimentary buffet — wine will be available.

Tickets on sale from Sally's Newsagents — proceeds will go towards church funds.
