Ordulph FC 4

Plymouth Parkway 1

PLYMOUTH Parkway were blown away after a scintilating opening 45 minutes from the Ordulph.

The hosts started brightly and Phillpotts forced a top save early on from his free kick. The Ordulph did not have to wait long before going in front; superb work from Seb Krotke on the left allowed him to cross for Joel Anderson to neatly tuck the ball home.

It was to no surprise when James Aggiss headed in the second from Ben Stephens cross. Stephens got himself off and running for the season after a deft touch he rounded the keeper and fired home the third. Parkway appeared to be chasing shadows at times as the Ordulph dominated the middle of the park through Aggiss, Phillpotts and Paul Hoskin. Ordulph got their fourth, and Anderson deservedly got his second, with another composed finish.

Rob Moloney returned after injury for the Ordulph and was excellent at the back alongside Mark Gaden, Paul Layer and debutant Matt Smallacombe.

The second half was an anti climax by comparison although Parkway came out fighting to get a deserved consolation. Ross Sherrell was unlucky not to add a fifth.
