THE Hearts First Devon Bike Ride is taking place on Sunday June 18, from 9am, to raise funds for the nation?s top heart charity, the British Heart Foundation (BHF). Last year?s event was a huge success, raising considerable funds to enable the charity to continue its vital research. I urge people of all ages and abilities across the county to sign up for this bike ride and help save the lives of those living with heart disease in Devon. The event is open to participants of all ages, but under-16s must be accompanied by an adult and gain their parents? consent on their registration form. Advance registration costs £7 for adults and is free for accompanied under-16s. Registration is possible on the day from 8am, however at full price of £15 for adults.
