CHILDREN'S Hospice South West's (CHSW) has announced that the monthly open days at its 'Little Harbour' will continue throughout 2014 for West Devon supporters.

Since Little Harbour opened to families in December 2011 the care and fundraising teams have allowed the public access to the beautiful hospice on one day each month when essential maintenance and care team training takes place.

Tour days give anyone who has supported the charity an insight into hospice life, see where their money goes and what their support is helping to achieve.

A guided tour of the facilities available to families helps to give supporters a further understanding of how families with life limited children are supported and cared for at Little Harbour by CHSW.

Emma Lloyd, head of fundraising at Little Harbour, said: 'Being able to show supporters around Little Harbour allows us to not only share this incredible landmark facility but also talk in greater depth about the difference those who support us can make to families in their local community — families going through unimaginable circumstances.'

Tours usually last about an hour and will be run by a staff member or CHSW volunteer.

Dates for tour days this spring are: Monday, February 3, Monday, March 3, Monday, April 7 and Monday, May 12.
