I WAS under the impression that Devon County Council was not plentifully supplied with money
That being so, how do they justify the following: as you turn into South Zeal from Sticklepath (top of the hill) there are two upright 30-mile signs on either side of the road, facing each other, plus on the centre of the road painted between them a large white circle with 30 in the middle!
I am not quite clear, it is that in fact they have too much money, or just another EU ?embellishment??
In either case, they hardly enhance our village and contrary to encouraging safe driving they provide a distraction. One is enough!
