A KIT HILL couple have just raised £150 to support their local church by cycling around churches in East Cornwall.
Grace and Philip Myerscough-Tournoff rode 30 miles in a day to help raise money for the 15th century Stoke Climsland Church and the Cornwall Historic Churches Trust charity.
Grace, a keen cyclist who works at Callington Tesco, explained: 'We wanted to raise money for the trust and it was a lovely opportunity to see different churches.
'Half the money goes to the trust, half to the church you nominate. We chose Stoke Climsland parish church because it's our local one. We go there every Sunday, we got married there and got confirmed there. Also I wanted to see if I could do it in a day.'
