PUPILS at St Andrew's C of E Primary School recently took part in several workshops focussing on recycling.

Classes two, four and six took part in the the workshops led by Alex Mack from Resourcefutures.

Year 4 enjoyed paper making as part of the recycling initiative and Year 6 learned about Waste, Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) in their workshop 'Batteries and Alternative Circuits'.

In the Year 2 workshop Waste and Electrical Wheels, pupils learned how much electrical waste is created in a year and how to carefully dispose of such waste.

The last two workshops are 'new' sessions funded by WEEE care through Devon County Council and the pupils enjoyed being 'guinea pigs' for these.
