MEMBERS of the Tavistock Company of Archers have made their mark in the Devon and Cornwall Archery Championships.

Despite windy conditions, member Keith Stephenson was first in the York round gents' longbow.

His fellow member, John Sperling, took second spot in the same event.

And member Terry Fry was eighth in the York round gents' recurve.

The contest took place at Newquay Tretherras School last Sunday week.
